To our clients,

A quick note from the home-office!

Yesterday both the Prime Minister and Premier made additional announcements regarding financial supports for Canadian businesses and individuals.

Without getting into the details there have been enhancements to previously announced programs, widening of “qualifying” individuals for programs and some new stuff as well. Below are a few links to resources (both government and third-party) to assist you in determining whether or not these programs might be of benefit to you, your business or your employees.

A quick reminder that currently the offices of Mercer & Mercer remain closed. We are hopeful that we’ll be back in the office Monday April 6thand will advise if that date changes.

Thank you again for your continued support and understanding that as much as we might like it, business cannot, for the time being operate “as usual”. As best as I can, I will continue to provide updates on government policy changes that might affect tax filings.

Sincerely,

Blake Mercer and the Mercer and Mercer Team
